Hey, i just downloaded makehuman but i can't find out how to export a model.

When i go to the export tab, i don't see any option for exporting... I want to export a model to 3d max (2009). Could someone please help me out with this??

1. export.obj
2. export.obj.mtl
3. export.bvh
These files are located in the same place as makehuman.exe

Max reads obj (wavefront object) pretty good.

Thanks, i found out that i was also using the prerelase version, so i switched back to the old 0.9 version. This one works great and i have my obj file.

I have one more question though, it's a very detailed character, around 22.000 polys when i load it into 3d max. But i want to drastically lower the amount of polygons that the model has. Can i do that in makehuman? Or do i have to targetweld everything in 3d max??

The low poly export is scheduled for 1.0 Beta1 http://sites.google.com/site/makehumandocs/road-map and that may take a while... use max for that. With the optimize modifier you can go down to 8-9k but it ain't gonna be pretty.
