[solved] MPFB system assets dowload speed

Hi.
Sadly I wasn't able to find a matching topic through forum search.
Due toe a new computer I upgraded do Blender 4 and mpfb.
For several hours now I try to download the makehuman system assets.
The download speed is ridiculously low, sometimes the dowload aborts.
No other page provides such difficulties in dowloading stuff.
Is there any solution for that problem or do I have to stick with the older versions?

This sounds like a routing error, as there's no problem downloading the file from here.

But to answer the question, there's a secondary mirror. If you copy the link to the asset, in this case https://files2.makehumancommunity.org/a ... ts_cc0.zip then you can simply change the "files2" part to "files" and "https" to "http", so that the link becomes http://files.makehumancommunity.org/ass ... ts_cc0.zip

You might also need to click through a warning about the link not using SSL in order for the mirror link to download.

The mirror is in another city of sweden, but still in sweden. So if you have routing trouble somewhere inbetween you location and the secondary mirrror too, then this might not solve the problem. Doesn't hurt to try though.
