viebrix wrote:Another question. When I have transfered a Model from MH into Blender with MPFB - how can I change clothes and hair? I have seen some screenshots/videos where people change those things in a Menu called "Model" or something equal (i dont really remember) but I have not such Menu 9in MPFB. I only have "New Human" "Apply Asset" "Manage Presets" "Create Asset" "Operations" "System and Resources" "Developers"

If you go the all MPFB route and don't use MakeHuman as a starting point, you can do the entire modeling in MPFB.

Easiest way to check this out is to use the new human "from scratch" and select the created mesh. This way the modeling tab should appear.

The entire procedure is described in the later part of the getting started guide at http://static.makehumancommunity.org/mp ... arted.html

If you import from MakeHuman you will get a baked mesh with all targets applied. This prevents you from being able to use the corresponding target sliders in MPFB.

These settings are nothing strange. It's just two lights, a background and a HDRI. The skin etc are very close to the MPFB defaults.

I'll see if I can clean up my test scene a bit and post it in the repo.

Thank you for sharing your blender file!

I have tried to create model directly in blender with MPFB and afterwards change the model and everything worked except:

1. Nose - curve concave convex: I can change the value - but after pressing enter its again 0
2. Nose compression: also not able to change the value

3. If I create a model and add clothes. for example underwear and afterwards a shirt and jeans - then in MakeHuman the underwear will be hidden under the other clothes. In Blender MPFB the underwear is partly shown and partly hidden under the other clothes. Can I change this. Can I select which cloth is below and which should be above the others?

Thanks a lot for your help.
This software is so great its really cool!

I can confirm that nose concave-convex does not work. There's a crash in the background when trying to use it. The same crash happens with compress. I'll see if I can fix it.

The hide surfaces under clothes is only implemented for the body and proxy so far, it does not take z-index of clothes into account. But that is something that should definitely be on the todo list.

I've pushed a fix for the missing opposites definitions for the mentioned nose features, in https://github.com/makehumancommunity/m ... 09913afadf

The fix will arrive in tonight's build, or can be fetched from github now.

Thanks for spotting this. My guess is that there might be additional such cases where opposites are not the standard incr-decr or max-min but rather other opposite words (in this case concave-convex and compress-uncompress)

Thanks for confirmation and for your fix! If I find other points where the setting level does not work I will mention it. I only can remember that there were settings were only positive changes could be done (greater 0) but I thought this is by design only positive.

Thanks for your help and your work on this great software!
