.MHX2 import option is missing (Blender 2.8)

Hi I am a returning user to MH and have fund that the new Blender 2.8 addon is missing the import .mhx2 option and was wondering where has it gone?

I also was doing research and notice in latest addon it uses socket to connect to running MH for download the current model. But when I click "Import Human" it imports the meshes but there are no shapekeys of face units!


I really liked the .mxh2 file approach over sockets as it was far more easier and less prone to problems.


Can blender 2.8 plugin import a .mhx2 file?

Idk how that normal import MHX2 thing is but i have an idea on the socket import.
I don't know how you can just straight import it in. sorry, I don't know

Greetings,
Firstly I have had no issue using the socket approach this seems to be working on my box! Not sure whats wrong there? However there are two addons, you may look at the included screen shots and see if you have both of them enabled. One is the community makehuman panel that uses the socket-the other is as you stated the import mhx approach. There is also the option of simply importing the mhx2 through the blender import options as per normal blender protocol. Im sorry to hear you are having issues but I am confident you will find a workaround or solution even! Elv
