Assets without texures/color

I've been downloading assets can I was liking it, the topologies are good( elf ears m but I started downloading hair and clothes. it kept showing like som orange black and white things as textures, I watch that tutorial that showed how to do it, it said downloaded them and put it in a folder, I did that, but I could get it to work, some assets didn't have all files btw. but I downloaded them but I couldn't get any of them to work, I put, I'm a noob at this, please help, This goes for everything like Clothes, hair, and others

Which version of makehuman are you using our last three releases have had a way of downloading community assets within the app check out the "Community" tab if you don't have it please upgrade to newer version.Now if you are downloading from the Assets repo directly here on our web site don't use Edge as your web browser as it does not allow you to "Save as" on the textures so what you get is a .html file not the image file that it points to this is one of the reasons we developed the Community tab as OSX's Safari is also crippled in this way if do not upgrade use either Firefox or Chrome instead.

Then you should be able to use the internal asset downloader on the "Community" tab there is a bit of prep that is needed:
1. click the "Community" tab you see two sub-tabs Download assets and socket
2.Check the Socket sub-tab Accept connections is checked (x in the little box)
3. Back to the Download assets sub-tab at the bottom right side click the Synchronize button (wait awhile for it to finish)
4.Now on the left side are a series filters to help you find what you want set the filters to what you searching for and click the "Update
list" button at the bottom of the filters
5.Now the middle window should have all of the assets that match the filter settings click on the one you want then click the
"Download" button in the right pane

Now back to the "Geometries" tab you new asset should now be available for you to use with all the textures too.If you have problems just post again

It's sir but no problem we like happy users as they tell others about their good experiences If you run into an other problem just post on the forum in the appropriate sub-forum and just a reminder that makehuman is intended to be a starting point for character creation with the detail work done in a full 3D modelling app like Maya(if you can afford it) or blender which if free and Open Source what most of us here use so if you have questions about that process pipe up we don't shame newbies we where that our self's at one point some not that long ago
