Loading previously made models

Postby carlcarlson » Tue Aug 25, 2020 2:13 am

I have a few models I've made and exported into the default folder created by MH. But I can't reload them. I can't even see them when I try to 'load'. Is that the way it's supposed to be?

First of all you do not export them you save them to that location exporting them coverts them into a format that MH can't use but that a full 3D app can.

I've heard a few reports of this, but was never able to figure out what happened.

A few questions:

did you "save" the model or "export" it?
was there a file created in the "models" directory after you saved the model?
Exactly which version of MH are you using?
Can you create a screenshot with how the load tab looks, and another of how the folder with the saved file looks?
Can you provide a log file of a session where you first save a model and then switch to the load tab? (See http://www.makehumancommunity.org/wiki/ ... _report%3F)

I really appreciate folks helping here.
Being a newb and stoopid to boot I didn't realize that after exporting I wouldn't be able to reopen with MH, but I could save it and I could reopen the saved file. Thanks. I'm sure I'll have more newb questions.
