Mesh aren't weight paint properly

Postby Ashayus » Fri Jun 05, 2020 8:56 am

I created mesh on a edited makehuman model, that has helpers vertex group when uploaded back to makehuman I noticed that has weird stretching, that can be explained by improper weight paint, how to avoid this or I have to manually fix this

Use the makeclothes add-on in blender do not try just adding to the mesh even using the helpers transferring all of the meta data blocks is very tedious as you noticed.Clothes are separate meshes(proxy) that added on top of the base body mesh within MH so unless the added mesh defined as clothes in MH it just baulks basically it does know what the hell is happening if expects only defined data types.

Enjoy the Choice :)
