Blender 2.82 and MH 1.2

I've successfully installed MH 1.2 Beta 1 (5/3/20 version). I've gone to "community" tab and enabled "Accept Connections" on the Socket subtab.

I'm using Blender 2.82, and successfully imported (and enabled) the MH addons to Blender:
MakeHuman: Import-Runtime: MakeHuman Exchange 2 (.mhx2)
MakeHuman: MH Community Plug-in

And still ... no import option for .mhx2

I've restarted both applications several times.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to sacrifice a chicken?

The mhx2 export/import is not needed with the community-socket connection.

Instead:
(1) Start MakeHuman and configure the human the way you want it for Blender import
(2) Leave MakeHuman running
(3) Start Blender and open the sidebar (N command)
(4) Correctly enabled, there should be a tab called MakeHuman in the sidebar
(5) Select that tab and click the Settings tab
Within settings there should be three options: Default, MakeTarget, and MakeClothes
(6) Load the option you want
The generic option is Default, use one of the others as their name implies
The specific settings can be changed for different options and then saved if desired
(7) Select the Mesh tab and then click "Import human"
The human from MakeHuman should show up in your Blender window as a new "Collection"
The human is directly imported from MakeHuman, using the settings selected.

Hope this helps you. (No chickens were harmed in the generation of this response)

Thank you - that worked. My chickens are a lot less nervous now.
