Socket Tab missing from Community

Postby kentonwhite » Mon Mar 16, 2020 5:57 pm

Trying to get the connection working between MH and Blender 2.82.

I've installed MH 1.1.1 for Windows. It all runs fine, but when I look for the 'community>socket' tab, there's nothing there.

I've followed the instructions, and installed the plugins in the correct places (I think!) I'm not the most computer literate person, but I can follow instructions!

Any advice welcome. (I've read the FAQs and couldn't see anything related)

I do not recommend to use MH 1.1.1 anymore. It runs on Python2, which is EOL.

Which one should I be using? That was the one that is shown on the Community Download page for Windows.

Recommended is 1.2.0 alpha 4. Don't let the "alpha" part scare you, it just says that there are parts we wish to improve before a final release. It is at least as stable as 1.1.1.

I'll give it a go, thanks!
