clothes stack/superimpoed

Hi Community,
I didn't find the answer here, so I give a try with a newbie question :)
On a model, when I put on clothes, they obviously are "stacked" by the software, but the underneath cloth partly appear on the above one. The clothe can even look as torn, and you can see part of the character skin.
Could you please kindly drive me through an overcome?
Thanks in advance.

Yes that is a factor you can change that order as it one of the data points defined in the clothing's defining file it is also controllable at the creation phase in makeclothes our blender plug-in for clothes/proxy creation if you want a more detailed look just say so ;)

Enjoy the Choice :)

There are several contributing factors here:

* The clothes' geometries (obviously)
* The "delete" group defined by the respective garment
* The "z_depth" property of each garment

The z-depth controls which is considered being on top. The delete group decides which vertices (on the body) is considered hidden by the garment. This is interpolated to a clothing that is considered below another.

However, since the garments are usually not modeled together, this is not always 100% effective. The interpolations should be considered best guess and a starting point.

Your choices are thus to either polish this after export in a 3d modeling program, to choose different clothes combinations, or to try to fix the clothes by remodeling them in MakeClothes.

Thanks for your answers.
Well loki1950, if you could give me more info, it would be great !
joepal, is MakeClothes are included into Makehuman (to be honnest I haven't seen it :( ), otherwise, I'll have to learn Blender (which is one of my goals also).

Any extra help more than welcome, but already, THANKS for your contribution!

Makeclothes is a blender plug-in but for the issues you have mentioned those would need to be cleaned up in blender anyway and since you still facing that particular cliff face good luck we will quite happy to point you in the right direction and pound a few piton for you.

Enjoy the Choice :)
