There is no default model

Postby Lucky8 » Tue Mar 05, 2019 1:35 am

Hi! Is the first time I use this software and the only thing I was able to do is open it  I was expecting to find a default model to start playing with setting but there is only a white canvas and touching every button doesn't seems to be the way to go. I took a pass over the FAQ but didn't find anything about default model. Also google a few tutorials but I saw when other people open MakeHuman the default model is always loaded so ¿how to procede?

If you are getting a blank white workspace I suspect you are on Win 10 with a AMD GPU try our latest alpha release from here http://download.tuxfamily.org/makehuman ... y/a3rc.zip just unzip and run the installer then MH will be available on your Start Menu.

Enjoy the Choice :)

Yes :) I'm on W10 some insider build ( on an AMD discrete GPU ) and testing " makehuman-community-1.2.0-alpha2-win32" . I thought that was the latest release. Now downloading the one you point out! Thank you. Back later to tell you how it goes

EDIT: Works great! Thank you again for your help

The link loki posted is to a release candidate of alpha 3. It's possible we'll rename it to alpha 3 eventually unless something pops up. In any which way, the final release of alpha 3 will be very similar to a3rc.
