Need Suggestions

I am using MH to make a model for a sci-fi rp that I play in, however the model I'm creating isn't exactly human. They're a humanoid race, but only have 3 fingers instead of 4 (they have thumbs), how would I go about modifying it? I attempted (pitifully might I add) to manually remove the pinky in Blender and go from there, however my blending skills are subpar and I am not so good at this. I saw a suggestion in the forums about targeting though, does anyone think this is a possibility? Just shrinking the pinky down? Of course, there still is a problem with that, the other 3 fingers would need to be shifted. Recommendations?
