Replicating a Person Relatively Accurately in Makehuman

Hello,
This may not be the right place for this, but since I am new to the software, I thought I would try asking my questions here.
I build costumes and props in my free time and my current project requires me to 3D model and print some armor. In order to do that it would be very helpful to have 3D representations of my body, and the bodies of the other people I will be building armor for. I have looked into getting a somewhat accurate 3D scan done but it costs more than I can currently afford. I then started looking into what people use for human models in Fusion 360 (the software that I now do a lot of 3D modeling in) and it led me to makehuman.
Now to my question, is there any way to use physical body measurements in makehuman to make a somewhat accurate 3D model of a person's body? I know this is probably not what the software was originally built for, but I could see this as very useful for the cosplay/costuming communities.
I do computer graphics software development in python as a part of my job, so if you believe it wouldn't be too difficult to augment the software to do this, that would be helpful to know too.
Any help or advice you could give would be much appreciated. Thanks!
