Greetings everyone,

I just started with MakeHuman and so far having a blast.
I was following one of KingBadger's tutorials on Youtube for exporting Makehuman to Blender. Although I have everything set on the Blender end I cannot seem to find any information on why there is no export for rigify option on the right hand of my screen under the options menu. There must be an add on for rigify in MakeHuman right? Can't find it though. I'd appreciate anyone who could point me in the right direction. :D

I have the make human exchange (M H X 2) but I'm not sure if this is the proper choice. I'd like to be able to make a character in make human and have it pre rigged when I open it in blender.

Makehuman 1.1.0 allows the export of its own rigs in collada and fbx and these will import straight into Blender with no extra fanfare.

If you need the rigify rig, you will need to use mxx2 for export and Blender import. During Blender import, select import | MHX2 and look at bottom of left panel. Check override exported data in the mhx2 dropdown. At the bottom of the new fields that appear is rigging. Change exported to rigify, and hopefully, you'll have what you need.

You can also choose rig when *importing* MHX2 in blender. There you'll find rigify.

There's a checkbox "override presets" in the MHX2 panel with importing. Check this and change the rig format at the very bottom of the options.

Further to the overrides you can also set your own presets like most things in blender I set my preferred import options as custom preset.

Enjoy the Choice :)
