Rigs From MH to Blender to UE4

Do I need to add a MH rig before I export the model from MH to Blender ? I was under the impression that I could use Rigify in Blender to add the rig. I plan to export the model to use in a game in UEngine.

I've watched tutorial videos and getting models and rigs into Unreal Engine and retargeting them from Make Human has been quite successful.
That being said.... I would like to add hair and touch up on the model in blender and wasn't sure how to go about the entire rig thing. I figured I would ask here before I tried them all multiple times.

Thanks for taking the time to help out.

Well, if you add the rigify rig in MH you've already got your work done for you. Why bother with manual labor in blender later on if you don't have to?

This said: If you need to make substantial changes to the mesh (ie adding and removing vertices on the body itself), it might make sense to delay the rigging until blender.

You can select the Uengine skeleton from the Skeleton tab and export that.
