I have no idea how to get it to work with GLSL display mode, it's completely black here, no matter how much I muck around in the material properties.
For some reason I was overlooking the little globe for the view-port didn't put it into textured mode. Been awhile since I blended. Forgot when dealing with textures there's usually 2-4 places to enable just 1 feature, still easier than commercial products which are meant for gigantic teams
