Blender MHX texture in 3dview?

Postby Valvados » Mon Mar 03, 2014 11:41 pm

I can't get blender to texture my mhx in 3d view like I used to have in older version of blender. Tried on a new makehuman nightly and old alpha7 model I had made.

It's textured only in render even if I try multitexture / GLSL

nVIDIA GT240 with latest driver. I'm able to put my own blender textures on non make human models.

In my experience with Blender, usually the texture does not show up in the viewport, until you select the faces in edit mode, and apply a texture to them in the UV editor window. You need to set your display mode to single or multitexture. It completely ignores material properties.

I have no idea how to get it to work with GLSL display mode, it's completely black here, no matter how much I muck around in the material properties.

For some reason I was overlooking the little globe for the view-port didn't put it into textured mode. Been awhile since I blended. Forgot when dealing with textures there's usually 2-4 places to enable just 1 feature, still easier than commercial products which are meant for gigantic teams
