In that case, the "specifications" are:

1) Include helpers in the transformations.
2) Create 2 targets, with opposite effect.

Mmmm, I have a question.
How do I include helpers in the transformations?
If I 'Load Human + Fit Tools' I get a lot of vertices covering each other.
Difficult to edit.

You can select the vertices with L-key, or by material, and then hide them with H-key.
I usually hide all helpers, modify the human, then ALT-H to show helpers and fit them.
There are other rules, like not deform the joint helpers, and move them in the correct location for joints.
For this purpose is very useful the proportional edit tool that affect "connect only" vertices.
It would be good to have a tutorial about it, but unfortunately we haven't it yet.
