Yes, I'm working in Windows. I downloaded Apache Subversion 1.8.1. Will look at what to do with it later. I'm looking at the Python programming lanuage (of which I know nothing - I know only CNC languages). I'll download too. Then maybe I can figure out what to do with them.
I think I read somewhere that SVN has a GUI, will check it out.

Thanks.

Well the installer kit with all the dependencies is approx 300mb as I read on one of the MH site pages.
Will download it late at night when data costs are less from my ISP.
Will let you know how it goes.
Thanks for your help Manuel.

*deletes Apache*

I downloaded, installed, and the MH-A8 starts just fine.
First thing I noticed is the improved mesh. Kudus.

Next thing the skin texture is not mapping correctly. I've seen the following blog post:
http://www.makehuman.org/blog/old_skins_compatible_with_new_a8_mesh.html
Can anyone tell me how to implement this please?

I've just had a chance to basically get everything set up to run and will check-out more later.
Already made a couple of notes.

At the moment Glasgow Celtic is playing against Liverpool and I want to go and watch (on TV).

Thanks.

Okay, I have since discovered that my/the skin texture issue is resolved if I go to materials and change the material from default to textured. Sorry for crying "wolf".

The pov-ray path no longer gives me the afore mention error since I now have the luxury of the [...] button. Thanks.

I have also since discovered that the reason I got the error message in A7 in the first place, is because I was using '\' in the path field instead of '/'. I am not impressed with myself. My pathetic excuse is that I have not used a command line or typed in a directory path since DOS.

My "review" of MH-A8 at its current stage of development is cause for other topic and I shall duly oblige.

Thanks.
