export parameter values directly from Excel sheet

Hallo to all,
I am very new to this forum.I love to work with Makehuman.its really a nice soft.
I need some help.i would be very glad if you could give some suggestion.
I want to make some very simple human figure where we can input the parameter directly (such as body hight,leg hight etc.).
As i have some measurement values directly in an excel sheet,we want to use these as input value.i mean is there any possibility to export
parameter values directly from Excel sheet.(may be as plug-ins).
Secondly is there any option to give the parameter values directly instead of sliding the bars.such as in Makehuman we can set the Body hight value
with the slide bars but if i want to put the value in an text input field (such as 180cm) ,how can i do it?
Can you please give me short brief how plug-ins works with Makehuman.May be a program code with a simple example.
