Hello everyone...been a long time since I've posted.

I am now the manager of an Immersive Learning VR Lab at my college. Basically we're running very small because of COVID-19, but that means I was able to purchase top-of-the-line equipment: Alienware Gaming Desktops; Oculus Quest 2 VR Headsets, and Anycubic I3 Mega 3d printers. Also Blender 2.93, and UR Engine 4.27 :P

I've been relearning some basic Blender modeling skills, and in the process created a three-strand braided ponytail that I think a lot of people can use. I started with 3 Bezier Curves and 1 Bezier Circle bevel object,

then converted the model to a Wavefront object.

and here is what it looks like in Meshlab. No, I am not going to attempt to teach my students Blender. :?

and here is the object and its materials:

And here is how to parent the wig to the body:

(1) Select Root bone of Wig in Pose mode;
(2) create Child Of constraint for Head bone of body rig;
(3) Set inverse.

Here is an example using the long braid of MH, one of Manuel Bastioni's true works of art;

Here's really ancient 5.1 mesh! I love that mesh, it's so 'Olympian Classic'.
