Well, I would like to speak about some Manuel Bastioni stuff that I found one day about texture map for bump the skin.
That was looking very pro, because he extract the skin grain, maybe this work stay in a box. I never heard about it since.

I know, what you're talking about. There was a section on the MH site (called blog?), where Manuel presented new stuff or WIP. He once came up with a simply great and very detailed skin surface structure. It's too bad, that it never got published.
