Clothes and wearable products

Postby julesd » Thu Feb 19, 2015 11:21 pm

I think it would be a good Idea for the cloths section to have a drop down list put clothes and wearable products in it's own group.

examples:
Head wear ( hats, helmets)
Face wear (ear and face jewlery, glasses, face scarfs)
top wear (T-shirt, long sleeve shirt ect)
Bottom wear (shorts, 3/4 pants full pants, towel ect.
Neck Wear (chains, scarf, etc)
Foot Wear
Hand wear (Gloves, jewlery)

All clothes and object should not contain materials or textures this should be added on later. (why have 10 same T-shirt style in the list with different textures, when you can use the same T-shirt but change the Material or Texture.

If there is a way to apply a tatoo to the skin that would be cool to. Perhaps as a stencil on front center of screen the move character around for size and area, then paste it. Similar to Blender's Stencil. I guess it could always be done in Blender.

We decided to use the tag filter for that. At the moment the organization is not finalized yet, but it should look like something you suggested.

You can go to the "Materials" tab and change the material of the clothes. The purpose is to allow multiple variations.
But we do apply an initial material on the clothes.

You could create an alternative skin texture and material, and choose it from the Material tab.
We are considering adding stencil details in later versions, though.
We also have an experimental stencil projection in MH that allowed you to do similar things, we might re-introduce it at a later point, with a stable user interface.
