Plus/Minus and default buttons for sliders (pretty please)

Postby devrich » Mon Jan 26, 2015 11:21 am

Firstly: a GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!

For the "Female Muscle" mesh topology :D

With that I have been able to work on a specific martial arts character for one of my games that I otherwise would not be able, so many many thanks for that!!

Second; I come from a programming/scripting background and the sliders work great but for that "fine precision control" I would like to request to add a +/- button for each slider to fine tune while showing the slider percentages in a label on the sliders and instantly apply. This would save me countless times of sliding and trying to 're'slide back.

Also very handy would be a reset or 'default' button for when we try messing with sliders and decide it was better to leave the slider to it's 'default' setting

You are welcome.
Concerning the fine tuning, there is a similar request here:
http://bugtracker.makehuman.org/issues/278
Perhaps you can add your comments here, or open a new issue, so we will remember it for Mh 1.2.

To reset a slider, just right click on it.

Thanks for that!

Also if i may; is there a request to have in the--> Modeling > Arms and Legs --> add in to modify the length and cir of both arms ( upper or lower ) in the Catagories list..... Actually this feature would make things a lot simplier than everyone asking the MH team to program a new Catagory to modify both left/right body parts for every single body part.

Do you mean to have something like:

Modeling > Arms and Legs -->Circumferences?

Side note: do you know this kind of modifiers are in Modelling->Measure ?

Ahhhhhh there they are :)

so then the one for modifying the legs in the Arms and Legs tab is actually a duplicate of the one in the measure tab.

Thanks Manuel!

yes, it was a choice to improve usability. Perhaps we should duplicate the most common circum too.
The discussion is here: http://bugtracker.makehuman.org/issues/444
