Skin tone and Haircolor Picker, maybe a second skin

Postby ionosys » Sun Sep 07, 2014 2:27 pm

Hi,

i know it isn't easy, but its possible to implement color pickers for hair color and skin tones?
And if this is succeeded, something like a second skin (or more to blend them together), i.e. for freckles, dirt, tatoos, scars, makeup and so on.

Pro: you only need one base-Skin Texture, separate but easy to modify different textures for freckles, scars... and one base Hair-Texture, and blend it with the picked color or skintype.
Cons: not easy to implement, could be a little bit tricky with blending the files together.
maybe more cons which i didn't thought about.

if its a little bit confusing to read, sorry ^^

kind regards

Yes, in fact multi-layered textures are already planned on the roadmap.
