I suggest the regulator (slider) evolution.

I suggest the regulator (slider) evolution. The left edge of the monkey, and the right edge of Homo sapiens.

This is interesting (a similar thread here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9366&p=19241&hilit=neanderthal#p19241).
It's a nice idea indeed, but not feasible in short terms, because they require an impressive amount of modelling work.
Thank you.

Yes, that was mine. Another problem is that many of the Neanderthal reconstructions are highly questionable, and under review. Usually, they are made to look as modern Caucasian as possible, and that is quite incorrect. Most Neanderthals were centred in China, as were the Denisovans. I have to agree with Danny Vendramini on this one: Neanderthals (and most likely Denisovans) looked more like gorillas and chimpanzees. They probably most closely resembled descriptions of Bigfoot.

So, yes, it would be a major undertaking to create an evolution slider, and probably not worth it unless it could be built up from the skeleton through the muscles and fascia. :geek:

Here's one of my first YouTube videos on the subject:
