Blender Cycles Import

Hi folks,

I love the make human stuff. It's very cool. I have a suggestion. Since Cycles is becoming the main type of rendering in Blender, is it possible that the makehuman import be a little more geared for cycles?

Is it possible? I spent a long time wondering why the eyes always appeared dark in cycles, no matter how much I played with the shader for the eyes. Then I realized that there was a little "glass covering" over the eyes. However, light doesn't always go through the cycles glass shader the way you'd think. So for me, just removing it was the easiest thing to do.

I spend quite a bit of time, just playing with shaders for every MHX import, and they are complicated and involve transparency, which is also kinda weird in cycles, at least to me it is. I'm not a terribly techno-advanced blender user. But I love it and makehuman.

Well those are my ideas. Peace.

This is a discussion which crops up now and then.

I've posted an issue on the tracker about it, see http://bugtracker.makehuman.org/issues/140

Executive summary is: yes, it'd be nice, but right now there is no-one around with the competence and resources to work at it.
