Compile error

Postby _BigWings_ » Sat Feb 07, 2009 4:43 pm

Hey all,

I tried to install makehuman on my ubuntu pc but i noticed that the deb package available is for 0.9.0 and I wanted the latest version so I thought I'd compile from source. This is the first time I am trying something like this because I am new to ubuntu so it might be something little that I am doing wrong but I get an error when i tried to make install for the first package, animorph:

./configure goes fine
sudo make install gives me an error:
BodySettings.cpp:54: error: 'strlen' was not declared in this scope

Does anyone know what this is and how I solve it?

The latest version is in trunk, python based. It's not usable yet: we will publish a roadmap as soon possible.
