stripes in aqsis renderer

I'm getting these stripes when I render a close-up in Aqsis

Is there any way to edit the lighting?

p.s. Thanks for making this, I'm a low-poly game modeler and I hate making textures! I tried to
use the Blender poly reducer on the default model, to 1700 polys, made a big mess, be faster
to build from scratch than repair a makehuman.
