MPFB2 modelling Problems

Hello
I created a body 'from scratch' using the makehuman plugin in blender 3.3.1
when i try to delete a face or vertice from my model, it automatically transforms into a basic female model. Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?

Yes, you cannot modify the mesh while it has active shape keys. If you want to modify the mesh manually, you should use the operations -> basemesh -> bake shape keys button first. You might want to also use the "delete helpers" button there.
