i start making a person, save them and come back later to work on more but it doesnt save changes what could b the problem?

The following files would be good to have:

* the mhm file (the save file) as it looks before save
* the log file as it looks immediately after you saved the model
* the mhm file as it looks after save

i dont really know anything about the program or file types your talking about, i only downloaded the program and started trying to make people for my stories.

Click the File tab in the top row and the load tab in the second row. Do you see your characters in the right hand panel? Otherwise you need to supply more details about what you are doing for us to help you.
