Whenever I try to import a mesh through MakeHuman v 0.6.2 in Blender 2.80 this is what I get an no mesh gets loaded:
What could cause this? I've installed the lastest MakeClothes 2 and makehuman plugin.

I don't know what format you are talking about using, but MH 0.6.2 is so OLD that I would be quite surprised if it to work. The entire design, including the base mesh, was different back then. I think that was even before .mhx was first written. I don't know what export formats were supported back then. Did you try something basic like .obj export?

I've downloaded the latest version and it states that it's 0.6.2. (from January 2020)
I'm not talking about MH itself but about the Makehuman blender 2.8 plugin + MakeClothes2.
And I've got the newest MH Alpha 4 installed.

Plugins downloaded from this site:

It says "connection refused", right?

Did you start the socket server in makehuman? You need to do so explicitly by going to the community -> socket tab and start the socket server.

Ok, works!
Didn't know that I had to open MH for this and check "accept connections".

I tried accepting connections and it crashed my makehuman and it keeps doing that. What do I need to do to fix it please?

It should obviously not crash MH. But this is not info enough to help you figure out what is wrong.
