Suggestion for a very slight modification to the eye meshes (I'm using MH 1.1.1; maybe this has already been done for a later version): if you zoom in close on one eye you should see a block of 3x3 qusds arranged in a rhombus shape. I'd suggest doing what i've just done on one of my models, to great effect. Select each of the four corner vertices of this 3x3 rhombus and scale them in slightly until that rhombus is circular (or close). Then it is possible to colour these 9 faces dark to form a pupil in the middle of the iris.
