Character texture (Material) too shiny, how do I fix it?

I'm experiementing with creating my own textures, everything went fine, until I opened it on MakeHuman, just to test it.
It is supposed to be a cartoony texture, that's why it has this plain colour, like in a comic book character, but what is bothering me is the fact that the texture is too shiny:

Could you post the texture image itself. And here is one other trick you can try as well on the Utilities tab go to the Material Editor that is where the actual creation of a proper shader is done and remember that the skin material is not just he defuse texture but several layers one of which can go all shiny if the transparency gets touched in the wrong way.

Enjoy the Choice :)

OK, but I don't have a "Material Editor" on my MakeHuman's Utilities tab... :(

Here is my test texture done in GIMP ("TexturaTeste.png")

EDIT: Just found and activated the Material Editor

Changed the "Specular shineness" to "0.9" and it looks way better, but it still looks too shiny

Did you change the shader to phong or was it still on litsphere? Try 0.09 if it is too shiny for you.
