I think the fix is ALREADY in both "default" AND "stable" on Bitbucket, so I'm having trouble understanding your comment. Could you provide additional detailed information on what you may have done that didn't work? On linux it should take little more than downloading and running because Python is built in to the OS.

Perhaps you mean the ppa package? I think that the next time we will update the linux package that it will be the Community Build based on Python 3, QT5, and updated openGL. It to runs out of the box and contains the numpy fix, but still has some openGL issues with some graphics cards. This decision is based solely on our limited human resources and the need to focus our time on the cross-platform infrastructure.

Yes, sorry. I meant the debian/*buntu repos. They were updated some time ago, and export stopped working again. Again, sorry for late reply, but as far as I'm aware of, the problem still persists.

First: http://www.makehumancommunity.org/wiki/ ... _report%3F

That said, we have several users running the latest PPA on mint. The PPA I'm talking about then is https://launchpad.net/~makehuman-offici ... -community. The PPA containing the 1.1.x version (https://launchpad.net/~makehuman-offici ... ehuman-11x) will not work, in the same way that it doesn't work on any ubuntu later than 16.04, because of an incompatibility with numpy.

To move forward, we'd need to know exactly what versions of MH you're installing, and from where. We would also need to get a log of the error.

Thanks, I understand what have I done wrong. I'm gonna replace my makehuman package with makehuman-community from the PPA you provided and check if everything works now. Also, can you replace the PPA link in the Downloads section with the community one? Or at least mention that the old one doesn't work with newer OS's due to numpy regression?
