deprecated automake mingw

While running bootstrap in makehuman, the following issue :
>configure.ac:5: option `tar-pax' not recognized

prevents automake (v. 1.7) to run further and set up Makefile.in

a quick and dirty workaround is to delete the tar-pax option in configure.ac, l. 5

I'm compiling using mingw on a Vi$ta workstation.
