Compiled python modules in svn?

Compiled python modules in svn?

I see that there's a bunch of compiled python moduled (*.pyc) in SVN now. Is that intended?

the directory pythonmodules contain standard python library. We dont need the source code for them, they are standard python library. Therefore they are .pyc They are used by (windows. Most linux users have automatically python installed) users who do updating by svn (and who dont want python installed).

in short.. yep intended
