I can't find out why it should be necessary to have that superdetailled genitals with several features. Okay, you might want to produce illustrations for sciencebooks. Something else? I think there are better ways.
To be honest: If I were one of the developers, it would be very frustrating for me to see my work becoming reduced to pornographic purposes. Especially as long as the focus could be much better on contentcreation. Once again: please explain what I don't find out by myself.
What Makehuman is and can be is presented with wonderful results in the monthly contest and the gallery.
If I were to answer this fully, I'd have to start a giant political flame war. I'd rather not. Just a few short statements: MH is about creating detailed and realistic human models. Real humans have genitals. Even those who don't like this fact still have them. What those realistic human models are used for later is nobody's business. And besides, even if they will indeed be used for pornography, pornography is a legitimate form of art. It's not in any way "lower" than any other art simply by the fact that it contains human genitalia and/or sexual activities. One of the best results in history of MH monthly contests in my opinion, "Liberty vs. Justice" by grinsegold, can be easily classified as pornography by a shallow and closed mind, but it is also a piece of art with deep message and really well done too.
