Facial Animations

Hi, I'm creating a game in Unity, using avatars that I created in makeHuman. My work pipeline is:
Avatar created in makeHuman -> sent to blendr to add facial blendshapes --> exported as FBX --> sent to Maya to add motion capture animations --> exported as FBX into Unity
My pipeline works fine until the exporting the file from Maya as an fbx. The facial animations work well in Maya but they do not appear in the exported fbx file. Is this an issue with my makeHuman avatar or is this a maya exporting issue? Any advice would be helpful! Thank you!
