Is there a feature that can auto re-sync seperate body parts

So I'm separating the body parts of my mpfb 2.0 human in blender. Have set it up on Unity.

I realize that I need to switch the rig that I chose to the Default rig that comes with the facial bones. Now the thing is since I've the original full Human model and the cloned body parts in the same rig, is there an existing feature where I can simply delete the rig in blender and assign a new rig to the Human and the cloned separated body parts? Or do I have to manually do it by transferring weights, setting the armature to the new human rig etc?

Alternatively, what if I wanted to customize the Human? Would there be a way to sync my seperated body parts? Otherwise i guess I would have to re-cut them all again from the new Human and discard my old parts.

Would be a huge quality of life boost if there is an existing function that auto syncs seperated body parts. Though I'm not expecting it to have it since MakeHuman doesn't seem to be focused on Game Dev alone.

Here's my setup:

If you simply cloned and amputated the stuff, then no there is no obvious functionality for stiching it back together. If you're really desperate, it might be possible to script this, but researching and programming this would likely take longer than redoing things manually.

If you need separated bodyparts functionality in the future, it's probably better to turn the body parts into "clothes" and equip them, same way as for example eyebrows and tongue.
