Can't connect to Makehuman

I have a lot of makehuman models I want to transfer to Blender with MPFB, but for some reason it can't connect to makehuman.
I don't get it because it worked at first, but now it doesn't.
I don't know what happened.
Any suggestions on how to fix it?
I've tried downloading other plugins and releases, but that doesn't seem to work.
Which plugins do I have to download to make everything work? Do I have to download more than just the MPFB file?

In order to move a model from MakeHuman into Blender, the following things have to be happening during the transfer:
You need both MakeHuman and Blender with the MPFB plugin up and running on screen.
The socket in MakeHuman on the Community tab must be turned on and active.
The model you want to transfer must be loaded in MakeHuman.
MPFB needs to be on the tool shelf and running as the front window in Blender. (Press "N" to bring it up.)
Once all this is going, you can go to MPFB and import your model using the New Human menu.

What is the error message?
In principle, you need to
a) start makehuman and keep it running in the background
b) start the socket server in makehuman (on the community -> socket tab)
b) make sure the port setting is the same in makehuman and mpfb
However, this seems to be an overly cumbersome way to transfer characters. Also, you'll disappointed in what you get, since you can't continue modeling a characer imported via socket.
Instead, my strong recommendation in your case is to open the MHM files (ie the makehuman save files) directly from MPFB instead. Simply go to the "new human" -> "from presets" panel and click "import MHM". Then browse to the makehuman/v1py3/models directory and open the character you want to use in MPFB. This way you get a full character you can continue working on in blender.
