Feet on Ground with rig and shoes

Postby sms1 » Mon Dec 07, 2020 9:07 am

I'm using MH 1.2 and Blender 2.91 (although applies to Blender 2.8x too). When I export an FBX from MH to Blender with the "Game Engine" rig and shoes, the root bone is not at 0,0,0 and it is rotated 90 on the x-axis.

Does anyone know how to fix this in MH or Blender? It makes animations in Blender very difficult when exporting to Unity.

Also, the bottom of the shoes are below the level of the root bone, so the shoes are not on the ground.

I'd recommend against using FBX to move stuff from MH to Blender. You'll be better off using pretty much any other method, but the recommended approach is MPFB. You can still export from blender using fbx later on.

I tried using the MH Plug-in for Blender. The rig rotation if fixed but soles of shoes are still below ground (z = 0) level.
