Having issues with editing imported MakeHuman model

Hi, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction on this, I've got my MakeHuman model into Blender with the rigging so I can fine tune details with modelling. The problem is I can't get it into proper edit mode, there are no face, vertice or edge mode options. I can get it to wireframe with Z but can't do anything with the topography at all, all Blender seems to want to let me work with is the bones.

Have I missed something when I imported it, or am I missing a step in Blender? I've spent hours trying to google for an answer to no avail, it's really frustrating.

Hi,

how did you import the model into Blender? What is the model's format?
To edit the model you have to be in object mode first. Then click on the model (not the bones or clothes) and then switch to edit mode. ;)

The way the model was brought to Blender shouldn't make a big difference, though imports with MHX2 are in pose mode by default. Nothing else o add to the rest of VapeLords comment,that's the way how it works.

Moving the thread to the Blender section, since this doesn't sound like a problem with the MakeHuman application itself...
