Problem in hair rendering

Postby ivmeneze » Sat Feb 17, 2018 5:25 pm

I have used Daz hair models in my Makehuman characters, but on some models a rendering problem has arisen. A kind of shadow, how to solve?

Have you played with the fac value on the mix shader if that does not alleviate the problem then a closer look at the texture will be in order as there may be a mapping issue.

Enjoy the Choice :)

I'm not sure if this DAZ content is free to share. If not, please remove the files!

Looks like a problem with transparency. DAZ uses JPEG which doesn't support an alpha channel. Have a look at the texture controlling transparency. Insert a color ramp there and try to fix it by adjusting the color ramp

Thank you!
I managed to change the transparency in the Render tab...
