So i sorted out how to get a leg opening i can live with for a leotard but im not sure how to fix the geometry (i used knife projection and now have a mix of tris and n-gons)

does anybody have suggestions on how to clean this up with a minimum of new verts??


my goal here is to have a unitard that can be broken down to various close to body clothing items the big space in the middle is for skirts/tutus (will also take suggestions on how to arrange the parts better)

After a lot of vertex dissolving, edge dissolving/creating/subdividing, and a few vertex slides, I came up with this. Not the cleanest of topologies, but there's now an unbroken quad loop to work with at the opening.

sorry about the delay but yes that might work.


any thoughts on how to setup the UV map

1 preserving the front back sections
2 allowing for a tutu on the same map
3 using space as wisely as possible
