Not entirely safe for work:

The main point is the foldable fans, which I plan to finish up and post as clothes eventually. But I'm not entirely happy with how the folding as such look yet.

looks pretty cool. maybe lighting it from an angle will make the folds stand out and make it pop. that and smoothing groups would be the only thing i could think.

A couple other ways

Forcing solid shading by splitting the edges at each fold, giving each section its own set of vertices. But subsurfing will then distort the shape and make holes.

Forcing a crease by adding an extra edge loop on each side of each fold, and sliding them in very close (like .98-.99). Works with subsurf, but significantly raises the original polycount.

In Blender, you can do these with edge creasing and the Edge Split modifier, but those won't export back to MH. :(

This has been WIP for quite a while now: Procedural skin shader plus additional makeup shaders using masks.

Different. This is the node setup.

Skin Pattern is procedural with the exception that it uses a mask to control the intensity of the spots.
Areola is procedural.
Lips is procedural, but controlled by a mask.
Make_up is controlled by masks.

All mask use the standard UV layout. This is a waste of memory, but otherwise it wouldn't be usable out of the box.

Looks like a complete mess if you open the node groups. I tried my best to keep things modular, but this is hard to to, because most of the skin could and should share the displacement. That's the reason to pipe it from one node group to the next one, but this solution also sucks. If I ever get the nerve to clean up the chaos, I'll post the blend file.
