I find all these ballet discussions inspiring. Had to try a pose for myself. Maybe I should take ballet classes?

Whoa! The video is awesome! Thanks for posting, quite inspiring. I don't know enough yet to ask intelligent questions, but please feel free to describe the process of making the animation in more detail if that interests you.

As I poorly understand so far, you somehow connect an existing motion data file to a skeleton, right? And then I presume you connect a series of such automated movements together to create the full dance? Or something like that?

Amazing video! I'm working on a Virtual Reality based dance lesson app, and seeing samples like this make me super happy! I have to learn how to add cloth physics to clothing and hair to make the outfits change with the motion.

Also, partner dance mocap is difficult :|
