Cold Makehuman Winter

Postby punkduck » Fri Oct 21, 2016 10:05 pm

After

hot makehuman summer

I could not resist doing the same with winter time. So here is my model Evi wearing a coat with fur stripes, shirt, jeans and boots.

evi_coat.jpg

All clothes are made with blender & makeclothes and then of course added into makehuman. After importing them back into blender, certain faces are put in a vertex groups and a particle systems create fur for these group. For the belt you have to watch that the fur behind is shorter (by assigned a small value instead of 1), so that the fur does not grow through the belt ;)

The large buckle in front I had to redo after importing, because it was totally deformed. I put fixed values for the vertices of the buckle like spine2=0.1, spine3 = 0.45, spine4 = 0.45 ...

Until now I was to lazy to create sth. like a knitted winter hat or even a pair of gloves.

And even the background picture is a real fake for this topic, because I took that picture in June ... (poland near Gdansk, baltic sea) ... but I did not find pictures containing snow in my collection.

I hope we have other winter impressions in this forum .... :D

I'd rather hope there was no winter, but that's my personal opinion. Despite the fact that I hate this season I like what you did. Great character, well done clothes.

Living in Canada I can't avoid winter  just have to go with the flow and walk like a penguin on the icy walks ;) Like the boots 3/4 of living with winter is warm feet.

Enjoy the Choice :)

Yes, let us hope for a really cold winter. Sitting inside by the fireplace with MakeHuman and Blender. :)
