An Orange Christmas

Postby Evivivi » Tue Dec 22, 2015 7:03 pm

Hi everyone!

I've been working on a big project the last couple of weeks and I'm going to post it here because I used a lot of MakeHuman characters in it. It's called An Orange Christmas, a contest where you have to locate a missing person!

Okay, so we have a Male prison with a female head. The cells look like a cross between a basement and a teenager room, and each of them have a computer. Seriously, in my student years I used to live in worse rooms than those cells and pay for them too. Apart from that, I've counted a dozen of objects that would never be allowed in any prison ever (knifes, scissors, forks, glass, mirrors, drugs…) There's even a gun on the floor. Nobody is allowed to have a gun or anything resembling a gun in prison!
So, the first thing that comes to mind is: is this really a prison? Or maybe someone just tries to make someone think they are in a prison, while in fact it is something else and the whole thing is staged.

Thanks for checking out my project!
You might be surprised to hear that in some prisons around the world, prisoners are actually allowed to use glass, forks, mirrors, etc. For example in prisons in Norway, inmates have a lot of freedoms (relatively). For instance, Bastoy prison (http://www.bastoyfengsel.no/English/) is located on an island where prisoners live in cabins and are allowed to move freely around the island for most part of the day.
The story is about a new kind of rehabilitation project, so it's not a strict prison regime. You have a point about the drugs and the gun though, that probably wouldn't be allowed in any prison.
