Here is a new version of a procedural sequin shader, this time as a toon shader, meaning it doesn't interact with other objects in terms of light rays and thus can be rendered very fast. Additionally, Eevee provides the bloom effect that looks nice with this material. The model is the admirable Mrs. Rabbit from thingiverse:
