You can convert them to mhclo as long as they conform to the basic rules:
- Must be either tris or quads, but not a mix
- All verts must belong to a face

It is by no means a fully automated process, and you'll need to do some manual fitting to get it good, but it should at least be possible to convert one of your mesh assets to mhclo this way.
