mpfb2 Clothes - Clo3d support

Postby dreem » Sun Dec 29, 2024 8:32 pm

hello i'm new to makeHuman, so excited to be a part of the community, I noticed clothes are created using the .mhclo format, is there a way to use my clothes i design from clo3d, maybe by importing them as obj or fbx files?

You can convert them to mhclo as long as they conform to the basic rules:

- Must be either tris or quads, but not a mix
- All verts must belong to a face

If you follow this guide: https://static.makehumancommunity.org/m ... othes.html

Then you can use any mesh you have loaded in blender as clothes. It is by no means a fully automated process, and you'll need to do some manual fitting to get it good, but it should at least be possible to convert one of your mesh assets to mhclo this way.
